Luis Felipe Rosario Burgos

Luis Felipe Rosario Burgos, a dedicated machinist at Die Cast Metal, peacefully passed away on December 18, 2024, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Born on March 2, 1945, in Camuy, Puerto Rico, Luis was a joyful and grand humanitarian known for his philanthropic spirit and his ability to light up any room with his humor.

He is remembered fondly as a wonderful father, a devoted husband, and an adoring grandfather. His legacy is embraced by his beloved wife, Guadalupe Acevedo, with whom he shared over 60 years of love and companionship. Luis is also survived by his 7 children, Adrian (Marisol) Delgado, Jesus Manny (Noemi) Rosario, Maritza (Jorge Aquino) Rosario, Zenaida Ramos, Maria (Eladio) Velez, Luis (Maria) Rosario, and Nitza (Dominick) Echevarria, as well as his cherished 24 grandchildren Carlos Ramos Jr, Christina Fiore,Rene Aquilar, Adrian Delgado Jr, Stephanie Datil ,Melissa Concepcion, Kayla Concepcion, Jessica Velez Trisha Echevarria, Mario Aguilar, Jessenia Delgado,  Vanessa Rosario, Jesus M Rosario II , Graciela Carrion, Ashley Aquino, Stacy Echevarria, Giovanni Rosario, Maragely Aquino, Emily Echevarria, Alondra Aquino,  Amanda M Rosario  Nicholas Rosario, Jasmin Echevarria, Isabella Echevarria and 27 great grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life.

Luis's siblings, Angel Rosario, Jose Rosario, and Adela Matos, also hold treasured memories of their time together. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Burgos and Gumersindo Rosario, as well as his siblings Rafael Rosario and Blanca Nieves Rivera.

Beyond his dedicated career, Luis was passionate about several interests. He was very handy, enjoyed the thrill of gambling at the casinos, was a smooth dancer, and was captivated by the sultry sounds of Felipe Rodriguez. A fervent sports enthusiast, he proudly supported the NY Giants while uniquely holding a place in his heart for both the NY Yankees and the NY Mets.

Luis's joyful presence and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life during a viewing on December 23, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.

Luis Felipe Rosario Burgos will be deeply missed but warmly remembered for his vibrant spirit and the love he shared with his family and friends.
