Lucy Nieves Millán

Lucy Nieves Millán, 61, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on June 4, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Roberto Nieves and the late Cruz Millán.

Lucy was a dedicated employee of the Walmart Corporation for a number of years.  She worked at different locations including Sam's Club and Walmart in a variety of capacities ranging from receiving to auditing.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crosswords and puzzles.  She was a very social person who was an avid fan of salsa and merengue music.  Her greatest accomplishment was being the glue that kept her family together.  She lovingly reached out to her family members on their birthdays and checking in on them to make sure they were ok or had not been around recently.  Despite losing both her parents at a young age Lucy never forgot them, honoring their memory until she was reunited with them.

Lucy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children Jose A. Ramirez, Vanessa Munguia and Joshua Flores, 5 precious grandchildren, her adoring siblings Amelia, Pablo, Ramona, Eppie, Doris, Carmen and Maria and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
