Born on August 11, 1997, in the Bronx, NY, Leah's journey through life was a testament to her resilience and the indomitable light she carried within her. A graduate of Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT, Leah's journey was marked by her love for music, dancing, and her infectious sense of humor.
She possessed a rare gift for forging connections, effortlessly making friends wherever she went. Leah's social butterfly nature, coupled with her warm and welcoming demeanor, created an environment of comfort and joy for those lucky enough to be in her presence. Leah faced numerous challenges in life, but her proudest accomplishments were not found in personal accolades. Instead, they were rooted in the resilience she displayed in the face of adversity. Her unyielding faith and determination to grow, even in the midst of hardships, were a source of inspiration for all who knew her. In her moments of joy, Leah found solace in singing, a passion that illuminated her life and brought joy to others. Her kindness and love left an indelible mark, and her memory will be a beacon of positivity for years to come. Leah is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Liza Chaparro; father, Carlos Chaparro; brothers Carlos, Christian, Elijah, Judah; sister Faith; and nephew Carlos Jeremiah. Leah was also a proud first-time aunt, and her joy in this role added a new dimension to the love she shared with her family. The heaviness in their hearts at the loss of Leah is a testament to the profound impact she had on their lives. The Chaparro family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to Brina and Daniel Rodriguez for the love and care they provided to Leah throughout her life.
Services to honor and celebrate Leah's life will be held at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT, on March 2nd. A viewing from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM will provide an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and bid their final goodbyes. Leah Christina Chaparro's departure has left a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will forever be cherished. May she rest in peace, knowing that her love, joy, and positivity, will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.
