Laura Martinez

Laura Martinez, age 66, of Bridgeport has passed into the peaceful rest of the almighty God on April 9, 2022, in Bridgeport Hospital.  Laura is the daughter of Seferino Rodriguez currently of Mexico and the late Eustolia Reyes Silva.  Laura was born in Guajaca, Mexico, and resided there for many years then when she married her beloved husband Macario Martinez (almost 50 years ago) then she relocated to Puebla with her husband.  Together, in 1994,  they relocated to the United States with her family, and have resided here since. 

She is survived by her sons Antonio Martinez Rodriguez and his spouse Patricia Saldana and Alexis Martinez Rodriguez.  She is grandma to one precious child Sarai Martinez.  Her siblings Marina Rodriguez Reyes,  Antonio Rodriguez  Reyes, Javier Rodriguez Reyes, Martin Rodriguez Reyes and Tomas Rodriguez Reyes. In addition to a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on TUESDAY, April 12, 2022,  DIRECTLY at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church, 481 Brewster Street, Bridgeport, CT.

Please know due to the Current Holy week, in this case, the MASS will be held in the morning at the church, THE SAME DAY as the scheduled viewing/visitation, therefore this date/time specified is not published in error yet specifically done to accommodate such a heavy schedule on such a week for the church.

Laura Martínez, de 66 años, de Bridgeport ha pasado al descanso pacífico de Dios todopoderoso el 9 de abril de 2022 en el Hospital de Bridgeport. Laura es hija de Seferino Rodríguez actualmente de México y de la fallecida Eustolia Reyes Silva. Laura nació en Guajaca, México, y residió allí durante muchos años cuando se casó con su amado esposo Macario Martínez (hace casi 50 años, luego se mudó a Puebla con su esposo. Juntos, en 1994, se mudaron a los Estados Unidos con su familia, y ha residido aquí desde entonces.

Le sobreviven sus hijos Antonio Martínez Rodríguez y su esposa Patricia Saldana y Alexis Martínez Rodríguez. Ella es abuela de una niña preciosa, Sarai Martínez. Sus fichajes Marina Rodríguez Reyes, Antonio Rodríguez Reyes, Javier Rodríguez Reyes, Martín Rodríguez Reyes y Tomás Rodríguez Reyes. Además de una gran cantidad de otros familiares y amigos que la extrañarán mucho

Se invita a los amigos a asistir al horario de Velorio el MARTES 12 de abril de 2022, de 5 a 8 p. m. en la Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Se realizará una Misa de Cristiana Sepultura el MARTES 12 de abril de 2022, DIRECTAMENTE a las 10:00 A.M. en la Iglesia de St. Ann, 481 Brewster Street, Bridgeport, CT.

Tenga en cuenta que debido a la Semana Santa actual, en este caso, la MISA se llevará a cabo en la mañana en la iglesia, EL MISMO DÍA que la visita / visita programada, por lo tanto, esta fecha / hora especificada no se publica por error, pero se hace específicamente para acomodar un horario tan atareado en una semana así para la iglesia.
