Kassandra Valentin

Kassandra Valentin, 55, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on February 11, 2023, in New Haven, CT.  She was born in Manhattan, New York.

She loved spending time outdoors, especially the beach. She was a great cook and enjoyed creating the most delicious dishes. She was a selfless mother, a true friend, and a great colleague to many. She was the light in the midst of a dark room. She will be remembered for her laughter, wittiness, and deep love of family and friends. She asked for so little yet gave so much. She was a fiercely strong person whose spirit was inspirational.  

Kassandra leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved fiancé Omar Mojica; her loving children Rebecca, Geo, Erika, Chelsea and Anthony; her dear siblings Roxanne, Erika and Ray, 7 precious grandchildren Najha, Isaiah, Noah, Kassie, Elijha, Madison, and Harper as well as a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
