Judith Rosa Barba, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 28, 1944, in Peru, Judith relocated to the United States in 2002, where she resided with her family.

Judith was a devoted mother to Jeanette Barba (Jorge Rojas), Jorge Luis Barba (Ana Belit), Elizabeth A. Barba (Accel Reyes), Gino Benel, and Tulio Benel (Salomé González). She was a cherished sister to Victoria Barrantes Buenaño, a beloved grandmother to her 12 grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren.

Judith was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness and lived her life guided by her strong beliefs and principles. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, who will always remember her unwavering devotion, warmth, and kindness.

Her life was a testament to love and faith, and she will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, from 6-9 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
