Juanita D Granger

Juanita D. Granger, 76, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Newport News, VA to the late William Taft and Martha E. Branch.  

Juanita was a very understanding and caring person with a great sense of humor.  She was a very nurturing person who took care of everyone around her.  She was a very direct and to-the-point person.  She was a very talented cook whose food was saught by many and missed by all.

Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children Andrew Granger Jr, Kelli Granger and Monica Granger, her precious 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren,  her adoring siblings Iola Taft, Wilma Taylor, Mary Cook, David Taft and his wife Marcia, Willie Taft, Ann Moore and Darlene Parks.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 13, 2022,  from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM East End Baptist Tabernacle Church, 548 Central Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
