Juana Robles

Juana Robles, 84, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on February 15, 2024, at the Southport Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Policarpo Alverio and the late Rafaela Torres.  She is the beloved wife of Domingo Robles.  

Juana was a very loving and nurturing soul.  She selflessly put the needs of all those around her first.  She worked as a dedicated nurse's assistant and took impeccable care of her patients.  She was a humble servant of the Lord who worshipped at Blessed Sacrament Church in Bridgeport before moving to long-term care.  She cherished the time that she spent with her family, they were her greatest accomplishment.

Juana leaves behind to honor her memory her loving husband Domingo Robles, her precious children Armando Montanez, Idelalfonso Montanez, her darling grandchildren, siblings and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.  She was predeceased by her son Eugenio Montanez Jr. and her grandson Savannie McNeil and Daniel Eugenio Montanez.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Saturday, February 24 from 8:45 AM - 9:45 AM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 275 Union Avenue, Bridgeport.  Interment will follow immediately after at Park Cemetery, 625 Lindley Street, Bridgeport.
