Juana M. Alvarez

Juana Alvarez, age 85, has entered into the presence of the Lord on July 15, 2021 in her home while surrounded by her family. Juana was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Unites States Mainland many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Alfonso Marrero and the late Anselma Gonzalez; the beloved wife of the late Ismael Alvarez; Juana Loved to cook but more than anything loved to serve others her cooking. At the same time everyone would look forward to some great meals with Juana at the Stove. Her Kitchen was her domain and she would cook up a great meal in 40 minutes flat! Juana loved her children and lived to see them smile and excel to new levels throughout their lives. She was a talented seamstress and today many have curtains created by her talented hands. She always enjoyed some good television programs as she virtually traveled to other parts of the world and would look forward to one day hopefully seeing more in person. Another passion she had was her love for Elephants and she not only appreciated them but loved anything that she could get a hold of such as a picture, a figurine and more. Juana will be missed by all. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Helmer Rosa, Charles Rosa, Griselle Rosa and Zulena Rosa; Her 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; Her siblings Nydia Alvarez, Ada Marrero and Miguel Marrero; and a host of of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her.
