Juan Batista Rodriguez

Juan Batista Rodriguez, beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 30, 2023, at Civitas Care Center at West River in Milford, CT. He was born on May 7, 1950, in Isabela Puerto Rico but relocated to the Mainland of the United States and resided in Bridgeport since.

Juan will forever be remembered for his vibrant personality and his passion for life. 

Music held a special place in Juan's heart, and he had an undeniable talent for dancing to the rhythm of salsa. He would light up any gathering with his impressive moves and contagious laughter. Gatherings with friends and family were cherished moments for Juan, as he genuinely enjoyed socializing and making lifelong memories.

No mention of Juan would be complete without acknowledging his fondness for a good game of pool. What started as a friendly competition would quickly turn into a memorable event when Juan's competitive spirit prevailed. His skill on the pool table was admirable, but it was the joy he experienced when winning that truly made those games unforgettable.

Above all else, Juan will be remembered as a strong and hard-working man who placed great importance on providing for his family. His dedication and perseverance served as an inspiration to all who knew him. Juan never missed an opportunity to express his love for his children and grandchildren; their happiness meant the world to him.

Juan is survived by his loving sons Luis Rodriguez and Victor M Rodriguez. His siblings Luz E. Rodriguez Roman, Fidela Rodriguez Roman, and Guilleldina Rodriguez Figueroa. Juan's memory will forever live on through his cherished grandchildren Reynaldo Contreras, Victor M. Rodriguez Jr., Joshua Rodriguez, and Nevaeh S. Rodriguez.

Visitation services will be held on, Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. 

The burial ceremony will take place on January 8, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM graveside directly at the Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
