Jose earned his title as a primary school educator in Honduras and went on to have a fulfilling career as a primary school educator. He dedicated many years to shaping the minds of young learners, leaving behind a legacy that reflects the value he placed on education and community. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling with his wife to the United States.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jose was incredibly proud of his role as a preacher of the word of God. He spent considerable time in church, fostering his faith and contributing to the spiritual lives of those around him. His passion for dressing nicely reflected his attentive nature and respect for others, traits that endeared him to many.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Vicenta Molina Alvarado, and their children: Karla, Yanira, Kenia, and Darwin. He was also a cherished grandfather to his ten grandchildren, who will forever remember the lessons he imparted and the love he shared. He was predeceased by a great grandson, Elmer Leonel.
A visitation honoring his life will be held on October 5, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT, 06608. He will return to his beloved Honduras to be laid to rest at Jardin de Paz Segura.
Jose Leonel Ferman's presence will be missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of love, faith, and commitment to education will endure in the hearts of many.
José Leonel Ferman, un hombre noble y dedicado a su familia, falleció el 1 de octubre de 2024 en el Hospital de Bridgeport, en Bridgeport, Connecticut. Nacido el 3 de agosto de 1952 en Honduras, la vida de José se caracterizó por su inquebrantable compromiso con la educación y su profunda pasión por la familia y la fe.
José obtuvo su titulo de maestra primaria en educación en Honduras y tuvo una carrera gratificante como maestro de escuela primaria. El velorio se llevará a cabo el 5 de octubre de 2024, de 4 PM a 7 PM en Funeraria Luz De Paz, ubicada en 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT, 06608. Será trasladado a su querida Honduras para ser sepultado en el Jardín de Paz Segura.
