Jonathon Irby

Jonathon Irby, age 58, of Stratford, has passed into peaceful eternal rest on December 27, 2022, in his home while surrounded by his family. Jonathan was born in Bridgeport to the late Rufus & Mary Irby, and resided in the area during his entire life. Jonathan appreciated the warmer months as it meant looking forward to enjoying great times with his family and friends. His favorite times were spent with family. He is the beloved husband of Liz Irby.  In addition to his wife, Jonathan is survived by his children, April, Deborah, Charlie, Moses, Terrell, Jonathan and Lasha.  his brother, Rufus Irby, Jr., 12 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will forever cherish the memories they share today.  

He was preceded in death by his siblings the late Joseph Irby, the late Debbie Brownie and the late Rethel Pearson.

Friends may join the family in viewing time which will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 5:30-8 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
