Jessica Solano

Jessica Solano, age 38, currently of Stratford, CT passed away into the presence of the almighty God on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT. Jessica was born in Bridgeport and had resided here most of her life before most recently moving to Stratford, CT. She was an amazing young woman with a heart of gold, her wholesome, joyful self left a mark in ther hearts of everyone she met. She was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport class of 1997, and she then continued her studies at the Gateway Community College where she received a degree in Radiology. She was currently employed at the Norwalk Radiology and would come home daily sharing with her family how much she enjoyed her interactions with the patients and most recently was given a promotion she so well deserved. Jessica is the daughter of the late Rafael Solano and Norma Solano of Bridgeport. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her wonderful children Kimo Hensley, Jr., Leila Hensley and Aiden Lopez whom she was so proud of to all around her. Her maternal grandfather Carmelo Acevedo; her Paternal Grandmother Luz Colon; and many other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her as they bear the sadness of her so sudden departure from this Earth. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother the late Tomasa Acevedo and paternal grandfather the late Jose Solano; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT.
