Javan Quesada

Javan Quesada, age 30, passed away on August 9, 2023, in his hometown of Bridgeport, CT.  Javan was known by many for his joyful spirit and his ability to light up any room. He had a magnetic personality that made him the life of the party wherever he went. His smile, infectious laughter and positive energy brought joy to all those around him. Javan was not only loving and caring but also incredibly attentive to the needs of others. He always went above and beyond to make sure his loved ones felt supported and cared for. Through his love for cars and music that dates back to his teenage years, Javan formed many meaningful long-lasting friendships. Javan leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

As a husband and father, Javan was exceptional. His devotion to his wife, Franchesca Quesada, and their children Jayla Marie Quesada and Javan Quesada Jr., was unwavering. He embraced fatherhood with open arms and took great pride in being a role model for his children. Javan's love for his family knew no bounds, and he created countless treasured memories with them that will be cherished forever.

Javan's kind-hearted nature extended beyond his immediate family. He had close bond with his grandmother Angela Padilla. In addition to grandma, Javan is survived by his parents, Jose M. Quesada & Lydia Pizarro-Quesada, siblings, Jessica M. Quesada, Jose Quesada Jr., and Julissa M. Quesada, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss him.  

He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Rafael Ventura Quesada and Cruz Torres, uncle William Torres and maternal grandfather David Pizarro Suarez, and uncles Hector Pizarro and Felix Carrillo.  Together, they shared many moments of love and support which helped shape Javan into the remarkable person he was.

The loss of Javan leaves an immense void in the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit will live on through the memories and stories shared by those whose lives he touched. Javan's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to inspire others to live life to the fullest.

Services to celebrate and honor Javan's life will be held on August 21, 2023, at Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and the funeral service will follow starting at 12:30 PM. Javan will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery, located at 885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610, during a burial ceremony starting at approximately 1:45 PM.

During this time of grief, let us come together to support one another and share in the fond memories of Javan Quesada. His spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts, reminding us to embrace life with joy, love unconditionally, and cherish every precious moment we have with our loved ones.
