Ivonne Galloza Santiago

Ivonne Galloza Santiago, age 57, of Bridgeport, has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Almighty on October 7, 2022, in her home while surrounded by those she loved.  Ivonne was born in Puerto Rico but had relocated to the United States and resided here throughout her life.  Ivonne is the daughter of the late Monserrate Santiago and Catalina Galloza of Bridgeport.  Ivonne was known to many for her joyful spirit and genuine heart.  She enjoyed the simple things in life and at times simply relaxing by the pool was all she needed.  She was enjoyed cooking, arts/ crafts, music but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews.  She will be sorely missed by all.

In addition to her mother, Ivonne is survived by her siblings Javier Santiago, Joseph Santiago and Krystal Santiago;   10 nieces and nephews; and 15 great nieces and nephews;  and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her spirit and her joyful self.  She was preceded in death, not only by her father, her sister the late Wanda Iglesias and her brother the late Billy Santiago.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, beginning at 10:30 A.M. followed by a service which will begin approx. 12:00 P.M.  all at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  After the funeral service we will proceed for interment at the Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
