Israel Hernandez Crespo

Israel Hernandez Crespo was called home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2022, at the age of 69.  Israel was born on May 1, 1953 to the late Carmen Martinez in Lares, Puerto Rico.  Israel resided in Stamford and Bridgeport, Connecticut for most of his life.  After his retirement from the janitorial industry he moved to Camden, NJ.  Israel was a passive man.  He loved fishing, joking around, watching cowboy movies and being amongst friends and family.  

Israel is survived by his children Maria Hernandez, Ismael Hernandez, Annie Hernandez, Angie Johnson and Yvonne Johnson; his dear siblings Ana Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Sonia Hernandez, Julio Hernandez, Willie Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Jorge Hernandez, Carmen N. Hernandez, & Prove Hernandez; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  He will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to his parents, Israel is preceded in death by his youngest daughter, the late Cristina Hernandez, and his siblings the late Lydia Hernandez, the late Natividad Hernandez & the late Agustine Hernandez.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. followed by interment in the Mount St. Peter's Cemetery, Derby, CT.
