Isabelo Mendez, age 78 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Maria Teresa Rivera. Isabelo was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico; son of Elias Mendez and Mariana Reyes, prior to relocating to the Connecticut area many years ago. Isabelo is the caring father of Edwin (Janet) Mendez, Sr. and Iris Mendez; the caring grandfather of Markus Mendez, Edwin Mendez, Carlos Diaz, Sandra Diaz, and Joel Diaz; the brother of Jose Antonio Mendez, Jose Adrian Mendez, Antonia Mendez, Nelly Mendez, Virginia Mendez Carrero, and Rosalina Mendez Calderas.
