Isabel Civico Casiano

Isabel Civico Casiano, age 82, the beloved widow of the late Juan F. Casiano Sr., has passed away into the presence of the Lord on January 20, 2022, in St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, CT. Isabel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Gabriela Torres Martinez, but relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She had been employed at the Gaynor Company for over 40 years. Isabel was a very independent woman and a very hard worker. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time in her yard. She had a gifted green thumb where anything she touched flourished beautifully. She will be missed by all.

Isabel leaves to cherish her memory, her son Jose Casiano, daughter-in-law Lisa Casiano. her grandchildren, Wilberto Casiano, Jonathan Casiano, Giovanni Casiano, Robert Casiano, and Jose Casiano Jr. Her great Grandchildren Angelina Casiano, Sanaya Casiano, Antonio Casiano, Jonathan Casiano, and Analiz Casiano. her sister Rosa and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Isabel was preceded in death by her sons the late Wilberto Casiano and the late Juan Casiano Jr.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, January 27, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home followed by interment in the Park Cemetery soon thereafter.
