Irma Batres

Irma Batres, 79, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on August 12, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Guatemala to the late Pablo Batres and the late Ricarda Retana.

Irma leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children Byron Velasco, Julio D. Alvarado, Carolina Yan-Alvarado, Alex Batres, Mirna Fuentes and Olga P. Gonzalez and her husband Victor and 15 precious grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.  

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 5:OO PM - 9:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Burial will take place at Huntington Lawn Cemetery South, 268 Huntington St, Shelton, CT.
