Irene Vieira

Irene Vieira, age 84 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Saturday, June 15, 2109, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Jaime T. Vieira; the absolute love of her life. She was born in Portugal; daughter of Jose Lima prior to relocating to the United States Many years ago. Irene served as a translator for many years and was incredibly proud of being a Citizen of the United States; a goal she accomplished 22 years ago. She also enjoyed assisting her husband at church by playing the organ during services. She was dedicated to her family and loved cooking and taking care of them. Irene is the loving mother Felipe Vieira and the caring sister of Raul Lima. Friends and family are invited to attend Calling hours on Monday, June 24, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Funeraria Luz de Paz) 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608.
