Hugo R. Gonzalez

Hugo R. Gonzalez, age 51, beloved son of the Late Felix R. Gonzalez and the late Aurelia Galeano has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on October 29, 2021, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. He was born in Paraguay, but had relocated at the early age of 2 to the United States with his family and had resided here since. He was an avid sports fan and loved social media. His humble, yet humorous personality was contagious wherever he went. Many appreciated his joyful personality and at every event he loved to dance to salsa music. He had the gift of connecting with whoever came his way and regardless of any generational gaps he managed to overcome them establishing lasting relationships with everyone he met. His forgiving soul was one to be admired. He never seemed to hold on to any feelings towards anyone who did wrong towards him. He spoke fondly about his daughter Nashali Gonzalez who resides currently in Puerto Rico. Without a doubt, a Golden heart stopped beating but we know God only takes the best!

Besides his daughter, Hugo is survived by his sister Fanny M. Adujar and her spouse Hommy of Ansonia, CT; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, relatives and many friends who will sorely miss him.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours which will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021, beginning at 3:30 PM until 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are planned for Monday, November 8, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home followed by interment in the Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT;
