Hector Braulio Flores, 52, has gloriously been reunited with his mother in heaven on Sunday, July 16, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Librada Pagan Flores and the late Victoriano Flores.
Many affectionately called him by his middle name, Braulio. He was a very gentle soul. A devoted son who was always at his mother's side and took great care of her. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, playing video games and listening to freestyle, Spanish and house music as well. He was a graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport, CT. He was an active person prior to his ailment. He worked at Captains Cove for many years and worked a short time with Goodwill Industries and the Salvation Army, respectively. Most recently he loved and enjoyed giving of his time to volunteer at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to support others.
Braulio leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving siblings Almelinda "Dolly" McLeod (Ron), Jose Flores (Annie), Anibal "BB" Flores (Laura), and Carlos Nelson Flores (Awilda), 10 precious nephews and nieces and 8 great nephews and nieces and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 5:00 PM -8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Departure to the cemetery will immediately follow Wednesday's calling hour promptly at 11:00 AM to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden, CT.
