Hector Almodovar

Hector Almodovar, age 43, of Bridgeport passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep on June 1, 2017 in his home. Hector was born in Brooklyn, New York but had relocated to the Bridgeport area at the early age of 3 and has resided here since. He is the son of Rosario Vega of Bridgeport; A vibrant and joyful young man who was the igniter of each party and family event. In addition to his mother, Hector is survived by his wife, Noemi Mejia of Bridgeport; his sons Hector J. Almodovar, Eliaser M. Almodovar and Carlos D. Almodovar all of Bridgeport; His brothers Luis Hernandez, Eliaser Almodovar (Jeannette) and Christopher Vega (Astrid); his sisters in law Marlene Ruiz, Jacqueline Rivera and her husband Luis; his father in law Carlos Lopez; lest not forget his German Shepherd Rocky and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, June 8, 2017 beginning at 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
