It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guillermina Borres. She passed away in her home in Monroe, CT surrounded by family on August 1, 2023. Guillermina's journey on this earth began on June 29, 1932 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. She was born to Antonio Carreras and Dolores DeJesus.
Guillermina, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend will forever be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her family. She was a pillar of strength and support for her loved ones throughout the years. Her children meant the world to her, and she poured her heart into creating a warm and nurturing home for them. Guillermina's love knew no bounds; she cared deeply for everyone around her and left an indelible mark on their lives. Her culinary skills were rivaled only by her sense of humor. Whenever Guillermina was present, she brightened the lives of those blessed enough to share in her company.
