Gilberto Duarte, Sr.

Gilberto Duarte Sr., age 68, the beloved husband of Maria Duarte has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on February 21, 2019, in Bridgeport Hospital. Gilberto was born in Portugal but had relocated to the United States many years ago. He is the son of the late Joao Duarte and the late Gloria Cordero; besides his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory one son Gilberto Duarte, Jr. and his spouse, Gina; his daughter Pauline Rosado and her spouse Angel; his sister Maria Duarte of Massachusetts. ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2019, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home, followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. Charle's Barromeo Church. Interment will follow in Mt.
