Gerardo's legacy transcends mere words; it is woven into the fabric of his community, where he devoted himself wholeheartedly to serving others. As a stalwart member of the Knights of Columbus and a devoted Cursillista at St. Anthony’s Church, Gerardo embodied the spirit of compassion and selflessness. His dedication to the Bridgeport Catholic Community and his profound reverence for Sra. de la Providencia illuminated his path, guiding him to touch countless lives with his kindness and grace.
A man of many talents, Gerardo's home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where laughter echoed through the halls and the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Whether hosting joyous family gatherings or extending a warm welcome to friends, Gerardo found profound joy in the simple pleasures of companionship and camaraderie.
Gerardo leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure through the ages. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brigida Reveron, and his children Gerardo Reveron Jr., Evelyn (Gregory) Barrios, Maritza (Patrick) O'Connor, and Carmen (Gerardo) Butler. His cherished memory lives on in the hearts of his grandchildren Loraida, Rebecca, and Cristina Reveron along with Gloria Reveron; Gregory Barrios Jr., Catalina O’Connor; Miguel Diaz, Alanis and Adrian Butler. Additionally, he is fondly remembered by his siblings Mercedes Olavarria, Ramon, Edith, Anibal, and Joaquin Jr. Reveron; and many nieces and nephews.
Gerardo's passing is preceded by the loving embrace of his parents, Joaquin Reveron and Micaela Rodriguez, as well as his siblings Domingo Reveron and Alicia Soler.
In every act of kindness and every moment of shared laughter, Gerardo Reveron Rodriguez left an indelible mark on the world around him.
