George Anthony Correa Jr., 41, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on June 3, 2021 in Seymour, CT. He was born in Fulda, Germany to George A. Correa Sr. and Catherine Mae Haray and affectionately known as "Champ." George was a practical joker with a magnetic personality and quick witted timing. He had a gift for spreading joy and laughter wherever he ventured. George could diffuse a tense situation and make you laugh till you cried. He was larger than life and friends and family loved being around him. George was an avid sports fan, he routed for the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys and UCONN Huskies. He had a passion for food and worshiped his mother's lasagna. Most recently, he took an interest in Turkish television. Champ was full of surprises and truly one of a kind. What he cherished most in life was the time he spent with his family. He loved his parents unconditionally and fostered a beautiful relationship with his daughter, Jessenya. He was the fun uncle, the cool cousin and the loyal grandson. He challenged his siblings and made them stronger. George will forever be remembered for the love and laughter he brought those around him. Aside from his parents, George leaves behind to cherish his memory, his adoring daughter Jessenya Correa, two loving sisters Jennifer Savic and Melissa Correa, their spouses Sasa Savic and Hector Torres, two nephews Nikolas and Mateo Savic, two nieces Brianna and Makayla Torres and a host of friends and family.
