Fredy E. Mejia Morales

Fredy E. Mejia Morales, 41, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on March 10, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT.    He was born in Guatemala to the late Nacianceno Mejia and Gregoria Morales.

Fredy was a grand person.  He was a dedicated laborer in the construction industry who worked long hours, he also worked in landscaping and created beautiful gardens that will be appreciated for years to come.  He enjoyed playing soccer and was very interested in learning about history.  He was a member of the Mason Fraternal Organization.  He was a great humanitarian who gave freely of his time and money to all those in need.  He was especially concerned about the children in his homeland and did whatever he could to assure they had something to eat.  He got along well with everyone.

Aside from his mother Fredy leaves behind to cherish his memory his precious children Melanie Mejia and Jeremy Mejia, his loving siblings Alicia, Marina, Alba, Maria, Adelso, Francisco, Oto, and Reynaldo, and his brother-in-law Jose Gonzalez and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
