Frantz St. Val, age 62, Returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at his Bridgeport Residence, surrounded by love. He was the beloved husband of Mayda Garcia; his wife of 26 years. He was born in Haiti prior to relocating to Bridgeport area and becoming a US Citizen. Frantz was a dedicated and talented Nurses' Aide and throughout his career took care of many elderly and their families, who loved his extraordinary level of care and service.
Many Haitians used to call him "Uncle Charles" but his family used to call him "Haitian Sensation" due to his unforgettable precision in taking care of himself and not failing to mention his Mercedes, which he loved. Frantz was an active and joyful person, who loved dancing and would be able to have a conversation and be sociable with anyone he came into contact with. He was a person of integrity; a chivalrous man who was an amazing husband. Frantz could do anything he put his mind to and stopped at nothing to provide and care for himself and his family. He will also be remembered as a fantastic cook, especially for his famous ribs.
