Fior Daliza Rivera

Fior Daliza Rivera, 87, returned to the loving arms of the Lord in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in the Dominican Republic to the late Juan Viscaino and the late Altagracia Fermon.  She immigrated to the United States many years ago and resided in the Bridgeport area for most of that time.

Fior had a very charismatic personality and was known for speaking her mind.  She was very witty and quickly added spice to her conversations.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was often found listening to music and dancing.  She was a very generous person who gave of herself to those in need, whether it was a hug of comfort or something to eat.

Fior leaves behind to honor her memory her loving grandchildren Anthony E. Molinuevo (Juana) and Jessenia Deura (Zoheb); her precious great grandchildren Briana, Brandon, Ethan, Brayden, Gabriel and Brittany; her siblings, Nelson Vizcaíno, Juana Miledis Vizcaíno, Hector Francisco Vizcaíno, Juan F Vizcaíno, Isabel Vizcaíno, Juan de Jesús Vizcaíno and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow immediately after at Park Cemetery, 625 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
