Filadelfo Ruiz Zarate, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024, in Bridgeport, CT. Born on February 16, 1976, in Zaachila, Oaxaca, Mexico, Filadelfo lived a life full of love, dedication, and laughter.

Filadelfo’s family was at the heart of everything he did. He married Natividad Sebastian Perez, and they shared a strong marriage for nearly three decades. Together, they built a beautiful family with their children: Sandy A. Ruiz Sebastian, Cindi Ana Ruiz Sebastian, Alma Ruiz Sebastian, Gema Ruiz Sebastian, and Eliezer Ruiz. His family meant the world to him, and he took immense pride in their lives and accomplishments. He was the devoted son of Manuelita Antonina Zarate and a cherished brother to Francisca Ruiz, Juan German Ruiz Zarate, Edith Ruiz Zarate, Griselda Ruiz Zarate, and Eduardo Ruiz Zarate.

Known for his incredible work ethic, Filadelfo worked tirelessly to ensure that his family, both in the U.S. and back home in Mexico, was always well cared for. He had a keen eye for detail and approached every task with dedication and precision.

Beyond his hard work, Filadelfo had a great sense of humor and could easily bring smiles to those around him. He especially enjoyed spending time at the beach, but most of all in the kitchen, where he spent as much time as he could. However, being surrounded by his family was what he enjoyed the most. He held his nieces and nephews close to his heart and shared a special bond with each of them, always making them feel loved and appreciated.

Filadelfo will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, worked diligently, and brought joy to everyone he encountered. His legacy will live on through the family and friends whose lives he touched.

Friends are invited to attend visitation hours on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 5-8:00 P.M at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608.

Final disposition will take place at Cementerio Municipal de Zaachila, Oaxaca, Mexico.

Filadelfo Ruiz Zarate, querido esposo, padre, hijo y hermano, falleció en paz el 23 de septiembre de 2024 en Bridgeport, CT. Nacido el 16 de febrero de 1976 en Zaachila, Oaxaca, México, Filadelfo vivió una vida llena de amor, dedicación y alegría.

La familia de Filadelfo siempre fue el centro de su vida. Se casó con Natividad Sebastian Perez, con quien compartió un matrimonio durante casi tres décadas. Juntos formaron una hermosa familia con sus hijos: Sandy A. Ruiz Sebastian, Cindi Ana Ruiz Sebastian, Alma Ruiz Sebastian, Gema Ruiz Sebastian y Eliezer Ruiz. Su familia lo era todo para él, y siempre se sintió orgulloso de sus logros y vidas. Fue el devoto hijo de Manuelita Antonina Zarate y el fallecido Juan Ruiz Mendoza y el hermano querido de Francisca Ruiz, Juan German Ruiz Zarate, Edith Ruiz Zarate, Griselda Ruiz Zarate y Eduardo Ruiz Zarate.

Reconocido por su increíble ética de trabajo, Filadelfo trabajó incansablemente para asegurar que su familia, tanto en los Estados Unidos como en su querido México, estuviera siempre bien cuidada. Tenía un gran ojo para los detalles y abordaba cada tarea con dedicación y precisión.

Además de su arduo trabajo, Filadelfo tenía un gran sentido del humor y fácilmente sacaba sonrisas a quienes lo rodeaban. Disfrutaba especialmente pasar tiempo en la playa, pero sobre todo en la cocina, donde pasaba cada momento posible. Sin embargo, lo que más disfrutaba era estar rodeado de su familia. Mantuvo un vínculo especial con sus sobrinos y sobrinas, a quienes siempre tuvo cerca de su corazón, haciéndolos sentir amados y apreciados.

Filadelfo será recordado como un hombre que amó profundamente, trabajó con diligencia y trajo alegría a todos los que lo conocieron. Su legado vivirá a través de la familia y amigos cuyas vidas tocó.
