Federico Ramos

Federico Ramos, 86, returned to the loving arms of the Lord at St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull, CT.  He was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to the late Atanacio Ramos and Wencela Aponte.  He is the husband of Carmelina Avila Ramos.

Federico was a dedicated employee of Handy Harmon and Coca-Cola Bottling Company for many years prior to his retirement.  He was a true fan of "Jibaro" music and enjoyed singing.  He was an accomplished dominoes player.  Federico was a very social person who enjoyed gathering his friends and family to share good times.  He was a devout Catholic who worshipped at St. Mary's Church in Bridgeport when his health allowed.  He was a faithful believer in God. 

Federico leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children Wilfredo Ramos, Carmen Iris Ramos and Marysol Ramos-Saca, 11 adoring grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 9 siblings and a host of friends and family that will miss him dearly. 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Burial will follow immediately after at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
