Esteban Monell

Esteban Monelle, age 68, currently of Derby, CT has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on December 30, 2021 in Griffin Hospital, Derby, Connecticut. Esteban is the son of the late Francisco Monell and the late Elvira Legran. He was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico but together with his family they relocated to the United States Mainland where they had resided since. He was a very talented Auto Mechanic and many years served those at times boggled by complex unexplained issues with their vehicles. He was a very genuine soul and always cared about those around him. He will be sadly missed by all.

Esteban is survived by his daughter Melissa Monell; his sister Damalys Pintle and her spouse Jeronimo; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sorely miss him.

Friends are invited to attend Calling hours on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 4-7 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
