Esperanza Garcia

Esperanza Garcia, 99, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on October 12, 2023 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Garcia and the late Anselma DeJesus.  

Esperanza was a faithful servant of the Lord who actively worshipped at St. Peter's Church in Bridgeport, CT.  She lovingly  prepared delicious meals for her family and friends that will be missed by all.  Her greatest moments were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Esperanza leaves behind to honor her memory her devoted daughter Eneida Ramirez and her husband Jorge, her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.  She is predeceased by her grandson Kevin Ramirez.

Calling hour will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 695 Colorado Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Interment will follow immediately after at Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
