Ernestina Goncalves Correia

Ernestina Goncalves Correia, age 76, of Ansonia passed away into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in her home while surrounded by her loving family.  Ernestina was Born in Fogo, Cabo Verde but relocated to the United States over 30 years ago and has resided here since.  She is the daughter of the late Antonio Correia and the late Paulina Depina.  

Ernestina is survived by her children Laura (Angel) Hernandez, Amariles (Herculano) DosSantos, Maria (Luis) Correia, Beatriz DosSantos, and Iolanda DosSantos and Ima of Cape Verde, her grandchildren Erikson, Edson, Eneida, AJ, Peter, Michael, Jordan, David, Naithan, Wagner Jr., and Isabella,  11 siblings and a host of other relatives and many friends.  She will be sorely missed by all.  

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral  Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608.

Final disposition will take place at approx 2:15 P.M. at the Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
