Emilio Rojas

Emilio Rojas, age 44, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on February 16, 2023, in his home.  Emilio was born in Brooklyn, New York to Miriam Rojas (Roman Hernandez) and the late Luis E. Rojas, then relocated to the Bridgeport area at an early age where he has resided since.  Emilio was a very talented young man, full of jokes wherever he went and loved playing with kids every chance he could.  His family was his love, but the artistic talent found within himself was his passion.  Today many of his pieces of art, are still treasured.  He is the father of two young men; Emilio Rojas and Isaiah Melendez, brother of three sisters: Miriam Rojas, Aida Velazquez, Lissette Rojas and late brother Luis Rojas. In addition to his family mentioned above, he is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.

All are invited to attend calling hours which will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT.  Burial will take place soon thereafter in his place of rest located at the Lakeview Cemetary Association, 885 Boston Avenue Bridgeport, CT.  06610
