Efrain Medina Garcia

Efrain Medina Garcia, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, departed this world unexpectedly on February 20, 2025. He left behind a legacy defined by humility and kindness. Born on January 29, 1966, in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Efrain dedicated over 35 years of his life to being a committed employee at RC Bigelow Tea, exemplifying what it means to be hardworking and selfless.

Efrain is survived by his cherished wife of 30 years, Frances Garcia. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, a partnership that served as a testament to their devotion to one another. Their bond was the foundation of a beautiful family, including their daughters, Arlene Santos-DeJesus & wife Jennifer and Annette Rodriguez & husband Hector, who, along with their families, will undoubtedly carry forward the values that Efrain instilled in them.

As a proud grandfather, Efrain lovingly embraced his role as "Papa" to his grandchildren: Kanye, whom he actively helped raise, CJ, Dahiana, Destiny, Jaiden, and Gio. His gentle spirit and unwavering support will undoubtedly leave a profound impact on all their lives.

Efrain's personality shone through his quiet strength, always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him. He was a loyal Yankees fan, often finding joy in the camaraderie of sports, a pastime that brought him many treasured moments.

In addition to his aforementioned family, Efrain is survived by his mother, Francisca Garcia, two brothers and four sisters.

His absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance during the viewing on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Following the viewing, a burial will take place at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Efrain Medina Garcia's life, marked by dedication, love, and a remarkable spirit, will remain in the hearts of many. As we honor his memory, we celebrate a man who exemplified how to live with grace and compassion.
