Eduardo Cubero, a loving and admirable man of God, a man, and a dedicated employee, has peacefully departed from this world on January 8, 2024. He was born on March 6, 1927, in the beautiful town of Camuy, Puerto Rico. Eduardo's life was filled with cherished memories, significant accomplishments, and an unwavering love for his family and passions.
Eduardo began his career at prestigious Barnum Hotel where he wholeheartedly dedicated himself for many years. Later on, he embarked on a new journey and joined Exmet Cooperation, leaving behind an indelible mark in the hearts of his colleagues. Eduardo's commitment to his work spanned an impressive three decades before he decided to retire.
After retiring, Eduardo's true joy came from spending quality time with his beloved wife. Together they created wonderful memories while traveling to Puerto Rico. Eduardo had a green thumb and relished in the beauty of gardening and planting flowers in his yard during the blissful summer months. Basking in the warm sunshine brought him immense pleasure. As an avid baseball fan, Eduardo passionately cheered for the New York Mets. Even at the age of 96, he could recount the team lineup, name the pitchers, and recall each score with remarkable clarity. He attended his first and second Mets games in person in 1988 and 2013, cheering "Let's go Mets!" with enthusiasm.
Eduardo's life will be remembered not only for his remarkable professional achievements but also for his exuberant personality. His gentle nature and willingness to lend a helping hand were evident to all who knew him. His presence brought comfort and support to those going through challenging times.
To celebrate Eduardo's life and bid him farewell with love and respect, services will be held at Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608 on January 11, 2024.
