Diluvina Rosado

Diluvina Rosado, a dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 5, 2023, in Bridgeport, CT in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on April 12, 1939, in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico but relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago.  Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her loved ones, but her memory will forever be cherished.

Diluvina's unwavering commitment to her family was the cornerstone of her life. Her faithfulness knew no bounds as she navigated the complexities of raising her children with grace and strength.

In addition to being a mom, Diluvina deeply valued connections and spent countless hours fostering relationships with many. Her warm and generous nature drew people towards her effortlessly. 

Diluvina's legacy extends beyond what most can imagine, especially through her children, Lucy Rosado (William), Juan Rosado (Maria), Miguel A. Rosado, Ana Hooks (Michael) Carmen Canales (Santos), Awilda Agosto (Manuel). Her siblings Jose Torres, Idali Torres and Luz Torres. 25 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Her departure from this mortal world leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be embraced as a guiding light for those who had the privilege of knowing her.  

She was preceded in death by her children the late Gloria Rosado and the late George Rosado.

To honor the life of Diluvina, a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. The service will take place at the United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT. The event will commence at 5:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family to reminisce, share stories, and pay their final respects.
