Claudio Colon

Claudio Colon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on July 21, 2023, in Bridgeport, Connecticut at the age of 94. Claudio was born Born on July 20, 1929, in the beautiful town of Patillas, Puerto Rico. Claudio was a man whose life was filled with love, hard work, and dedication to his family.

Claudio's life was centered around his loved ones. He cherished his role as a husband and was deeply devoted to his wife Regina Colon. Together they built a life full of joy and shared countless precious moments. Claudio's love extended to their son Edwin, and daughter Daisy Colon, who brought immense pride to his heart. The bond between his children and himself was one of unwavering support and understanding.

As a grandfather to Jennifer DaSilva, Claudio found immense joy in witnessing the growth of his family. Jennifer's children Jacob "Kiko", Ethan, and Ava DaSilva were the lights of Claudio's life. He cherished every moment spent with them and imparted upon them the wisdom gained from years of experience.

In remembering Claudio Colon, we celebrate a life full of love, devotion, and hard work. His legacy lives on through the memories he created with each person lucky enough to have crossed paths with him. While we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the profound impact he had on our lives.

Services to honor Claudio's life will be held on July 27, 2023. The visitation will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT, 06608. A Mass of Celebration will follow at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, located at 25 Sherman Street, Bridgeport, CT, 06608 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
