Claribel Diaz

Claribel "Buba" Diaz, 30, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on March 4, 2023, in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born in Bridgeport, CT to Ivelisse Berrios.  

Claribel was a warm and friendly person.  These attributes endeared her to children who always flocked to her. She was actively involved in the lives of her nephews and nieces.

Claribel leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents Ivelisse Berrios and Hector Rosado, precious son Elia Ortiz; her siblings Selena and Rafael De Jesus, her grandparents Ana Rodriguez and Antonio Berrios, her aunts and uncles Maria Gomez, Jackeline Berrios, Ivette Ortiz, Nelson Diaz, William Diaz, Christina Ramirez and Modesto Diaz, a special niece Jayliana Rivera and brother-in-law Jose Rivera and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.  She was pre-deceased by an uncle Luis Diaz.  

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and again on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Interment will follow immediately after on Friday at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
