Cesar Ivan Carmona, age 63 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Monday, April 5, 2021 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. He is the beloved husband of Migdalia Carmona. Cesar was born in Fajardo, PR; son of the late Catalino and Francisca Carmona prior to relocating to the CT area many years ago.
During his life, he worked as a dedicated and talented mechanic. His professional skills translated into his personal life, as he was an amazing handy-man, who could truly do it all. Cesar was considered to be the best pastelles chef around; mastering the recipe, regardless of the filling. During the summer months, everyone loved passing by to buy his delicious pinchos.
Cesar is the loving father of Janet Calderas, Jessica M. Cortez, and Julio C. Carmona; the adoring grandfather of Roberto I. Calderas, Monica I. Miranda, Isaac Calderas, Amaya Cortez, Nicolas J. Carmona, Nina-Marie Carmona, Angelina Cortez, Edward "EJ" Cortez, and Baby "C" Carmona; the great-grandfather of Jacob Miranda and Josiah Miranda; and the caring brother of Clotilde Carmona, Ismael Carmona, Rosa Ester Carmona, Eulalia Carmona, Rafael Carmona, Antonia Carmona, Francisca Carmona, Jose Carmona, Evelyn Carmona, Nelly Carmona, Luis M. Perez, and Maria Carmona. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marta Carmona, Genera Carmona, Isidoro Carmona, Genero Carmona, Francisco Carmona, and Perin Carmona.
Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT. His Funeral Service is scheduled to begin Moniday, April 12, 2021, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. His interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave. Stratford, CT 06615.
