Carmen Toro Rodriguez

Carmen Toro Rodriguez, age 79 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest suddenly on January 12, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Carmen was born in Cabo-Rojo Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Miguel Toro and Providencia Rodriguez. She is the beloved wife of Antonio Polanco. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her son Miguel Martinez and his wife Rosa of Bridgeport, daughter Carmen J. Martinez of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren Miguel Martinez, Jr. and his wife Lizabeth of Stratford, Janice Garcia and her husband Luis of Bridgeport, Christina Agosto and her husband Raul of Bridgeport, Miguel Piazza of Waterbury, Michelle Piazza of Pennsylvania, Julie Piazza of Pennsylvania; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, brother Mario Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and sister Myriam Polanco of Florida. Carmen was predeceased by her brothers Harry and Alfredo Toro and grandson Gabriel Martinez. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E.
