Carmen A. Larregui, age 65 of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on Friday, January 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Manati, Puerto Rico; daughter of Carmen Laureano Larregui and the late Angel Figueroa Larregui. prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago.
Carmen enjoyed drinking coffee, listening to music,quiet times at home, relaxing, taking long drives and going to the casino. Most of all, she was a dedicated mother, who lived for her children and would do anything for them. Carmen was a loyal employee of SURYS for 35 years. She is the loving mother of Juliessa (Tatiana) Calderon and Edward Calderon; the caring grandmother of Destin Calderon, Edward Calderon, Jr., Ezra Calderon, Eliza Calderon, and Jacob Torres; and the sister of Jose Larregui, Angel Larregui, and Tony Larregui. Carmen is predeceased by her siblings, Jose Batista, Digna Morales, Carlos Larregui.
Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 11 to 1 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E., Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. Her interment will follow at Park Cemetery, 600 Lindley St. Bridgeport, CT 06606.
