Carmen Jimenez-Jeffers

Carmen J. Jimenez-Jeffers, age 59 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of late Warner Jeffers,Jr.; her husband of over 35 years. Carmen was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico; daughter of Mario Jimenez and Emma Perez Jimenez; prior to relocating the Bridgeport area many years ago. She was an excellent cook, who loved hosting parties, cookouts, and general socializing. Carmen enjoyed dancing (especially to Spanish music), watching Lifetime, reading, and playing Candy Crush. Most of all, she adored spending time with her family, often playing mother to everyone, even those who weren't her biological children. Her grandchildren were the absolute light of her life, but most of all she was an amazing wife to her late husband. Carmen is the loving mother of Erika Jeffers, David Hernandez, and Kizzy Hernandez; the adoring grandmother of Marc Anthony Manuel Ortiz, Emma Rubina Ortiz, Jade Brooklyn Crane, and David Hernandez, Jr; and the caring sister of Annette Jimenez. She is also survived by many other family members and friends that will sorely miss her.
