Carmen Maria Beltran, age 77, beloved wife of over 55 years of Amparo Beltran has entered the Eternal Rest of the Lord on August 19, 2018 in her home. Carmen was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Dolores Abolafia and the late Rosa Nieves, before relocating to the Bridgeport area over 50 years ago. She resided all these years anywhere from Father Panik Village to Park Street where all her neighbors knew her and her family; Carmen was always appreciated by all who came into contact with her. In addition to her husband, Carmen is survived by her son Jose A. Padilla and his spouse Lucy Fernandez; her daughter Mayra Rosario and her spouse Alberto Gonzalez; her grandchildren Kelvin and Brian Padilla and Samantha Rosario and Linda Mojica; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will severely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Families First at Luz de Paz), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, August 24, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
