Carlos J Bayon

Carlos J. Bayon, age 75, of Bridgeport has passed away into the Peaceful rest of the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Carlos was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago and has resided here since. Carlos was employed for over 25 years at Sikorsky Aircraft, in Bridgeport where he also entered his retirement years. He is the son of the late Marcelino Bayon and the late Evangelista Bayon; He is the husband of Mirta Bayon whom he married over 30 years ago. Carlos was a man who clearly loved the Lord and his entire persona emitted the message of the Greatness of God in the heart of Man. Throughout his life, he looked forward to Singing to God and learning more and more about his Kingdom. He obtained his degree from the Good Shepherd Bible institute where He also served the Lord for the past 50+ years. Carlos traveled many places throughout the Caribbean, places like the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, Bolivia, and more where he would bring not only the good news of God's infinite love but also financial gifts and material gifts to help those challenged financially. He also volunteered for some years at two Christian Radio Stations in Connecticut as a Radio Host. Carlos always connected with children wherever he went he was drawn to play with them and children always bonded with him in return. He loved his family unconditionally and regardless of wherever they may be, his heart would glow with joy and be clearly shown in his entire demeanor every time he spoke to them whether on the phone or in person. Going to Puerto Rico and visiting the family was the must-do upon his arrival on the Island. Regardless of how much time had passed he would pick up right from where he left off. In addition to his traveling to bless others through the Mission Trips, he also cherished the trips he took with his family not only throughout the States but also in Europe and the middle east, and Asia. He had visited places such as Italy, Greece, Turkey, Israel, and China to mention a few. He forever thanked God for the blessings bestowed upon him, for everything he accomplished, and even for those he never did because a Grateful heart always gives thanks!

DUE TO THE EVIDENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE EXPOSURE RATE, IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET THAT CARLOS' FAMILY HAS DECIDED TO HOLD IN-PERSON SERVICES PRIVATELY EXCLUSIVELY FOR FAMILY MEMBERS IN AN EFFORT TO PREVENT POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO MANY WHO THEY KNOW APPRECIATES CARLOS AND HIS FAMILY.
They are overwhelmed and grateful for the outpouring of support during this trialing time but do believe Carlos himself would want many to stay in the comfort of their own homes, in a safe environment without exposing themselves unless absolutely necessary.

My Dearest Mirta and family, my prayers are with you. I pray that the Soverign Lord dress you with great Strength and Peace during this difficult moment. When I think of Carlos,I remember that he's a prayer warrior, with a love and passion for the lost. He was the greatest God parent any child could have as I know he interceded for Daddio and deposited into his heavenly bank of Blessings and prayers answered. Mirta of there's anything you need please count with Nelson and me. Love you with all my heart.
