Benigna Figueroa

Benigna Figueroa, 93, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on October 2, 2020 in her home surrounded by those who loved her. She was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Inez Ramos and Tomas Figueroa. She moved to Bridgeport in 1974 in order to provide her family with better opportunities. Benigna was a loving and dedicated homemaker who took great pride in her home and caring for her children. She enjoyed listening to music and playing Bingo. Benigna leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children: Felix Vicente, Aurea Rosa Vicente, Gilberto Vicente, Emilia Vicente, Alfonso Vicente, Teresa Vicente, Marta Iris Vicente, Ramona Vicente, Juan Vicente, Ruben Vicente, Gabriel Vicente and Raquel Vicente, 26 adoring grandchildren and 43 dear great grandchildren; her beloved siblings Narcisco Figueroa, Cristina Figueroa Alvarado, Virgilio Alvarado, Esther Rodriguez and Rosa Rodriguez Alvarado.
