Aurora Ruiz Toledo, 90, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on June 4, 2024, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Confessor Ruiz and the late Virginia Toledo.

Aurora was a spirited and friendly person who enjoyed conversing with everyone. Her cheerful manner should not be misconstrued with no nonsense approach to life. She was a dedicated machinist who worked at a number of local factories including Remington Products and Emson Research. Aurora was a very detail-oriented person who maintained an impeccable household with the highest cleaning standards. She was a talented cook who lovingly prepared the most decadent meals for the nourishment of everyone's body and soul. In her rare moments to herself she enjoyed embroidery.

Aurora leaves behind to honor her memory her loving children Evelyn Caro and Quintin Gonzalez, her precious granddaughters Erica Gonzalez and Melanie Caro and her darling great grandchildren Pharoah and Leah Toussaint, her dear siblings Maria Irene, Maria Teresa, Luz Elenia, Minedy, Roberto, Efrain, Maria del Carmen and Ramon and a host of nephews, nieces, additional relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by two siblings Angel Luis and Jose.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
