Angelina M. Alix, age 62 of Bridgeport passed away on March 6, 2020 in Hartford Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.
Angelina was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport where she attended Bassick High School and worked at various companies throughout the city. She is the beloved wife of Ernest J. Alix, her husband of over 33 years. She is the daughter of Charles Cappello and Ann Laliberte.
She was a loving wife and mother who loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to travel and shop. She was a collector of beanie babies and Winnie the Pooh. She also loved listening to a wide variety of music.
She will be missed by all and will be remembered as a generous and loving woman.
More than anything, Angelina was a loving grandmother. She found joy in spending time and caring for her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Angelina is survived by her son Eric C. Martin (Melissa), her daughter Amanda M. Tomatore (James), her siblings Richard Charles Cappello and his wife Diana, Mark Anthony Cappello (Elizabeth), Susan Tallerdy and Virginia Twigg ; her grandchildren who she adored Hannah, Dean, Wyatt and Cassidy and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608.
Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
